Dr. Matthew Lettre grew up in east Tennessee. He received his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. After graduating from the University of Tennessee, Dr. Matt completed an internship in leading neural developmental disabilities (LEND). He evaluated and worked closely with programs that supported adolescent patients with sensory processing disorders, Autism spectrum disorder and other neurodevelopmental disorders at the University of Tennessee Boiling Center for Developmental Disabilities. After his internship, Dr. Matt attended Meharry Medical College for his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Matt was inducted to a national dental honors society, an organization that honors graduates in the top 5% of their class. Dr. Matt was very active in pediatric dentistry at Meharry and helped start a free pediatric dental clinic that is still active and treating patients. After graduating from Meharry Medical College in 2017, Dr. Matt completed his pediatric dental residency in 2019 at the Children’s Hospital of Colorado in Denver. Colorado was his top choice in residency due as he became very fond of Colorado after his many visits during his childhood to see family that lives in the area. Dr. Matt is a member of the Metro Denver Dental Society, Colorado Dental Association, the Colorado Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Matt loves spending his free time outside in beautiful Colorado. He is an avid runner, skier, fisherman, and hiker. He has his mind set on seeing as much of Colorado as possible and doing a little fishing and hiking along the way.
