Composite Resin Strip Crowns
Strip crowns are ideal for front teeth affected by decay or trauma, as they provide an esthetically pleasing option. These white restorations are the same material as fillings but serve as full-coverage crowns. They have excellent esthetics, retention, and longevity.

Your Child's Dental Exam
Our team will take digital x-rays of your child's teeth, which our doctors will review along with a thorough tooth-by-tooth evaluation. If cavities are detected, they may recommend a tooth-colored filling to protect the tooth from further decay.
The Tooth-Colored Filling Procedure
Most children experience little to no discomfort during the procedure. If your child has dental anxiety, please let us know, and we can discuss sedation options to ensure a positive experience.
We’ll begin by numbing your child's mouth with a local anesthetic. If the area of decay is small, our doctors will treat it with a tooth-colored filling. This process involves removing the decay, cleaning the area, and placing a composite resin filling in the cavity. A special curing light will then harden and bond the material to the tooth, fully restoring its form and function. Finally, we'll adjust the filling to ensure your child can bite comfortably.
Caring for Tooth-Colored Fillings
Encourage your child to maintain good oral hygiene habits by brushing at least twice a day and flossing daily. Limit sugary foods and drinks to prevent further tooth decay and keep their teeth and fillings healthy. Most importantly, schedule exams and cleanings every six months. During these visits, we’ll check your child's dental health and monitor their restorations to ensure they remain in great condition.
